STANDARD (OSLO) has no choice but to present a new sculpture by Matias Faldbakken.

This is Matias Faldbakken's third solo exhibition with STANDARD (OSLO), which will be followed by solo exhibitions at Schinkel Pavillon, Berlin, Kunsthalle Fridericianum, Kassel, and Neuer Aachener Kunstverein, Aachen, later this year. Other recent solo exhibitions include IKON Gallery, Birmingham, Kunsthalle St. Gallen, St. Gallen, and The National Museum of Art, Architecture and Design, Oslo. Additionally his works have been included in various exhibitions such as The Sydney Biennial (2004); The 51st Venice Biennial (2005); MACBA, Barcelona; MOCA, Miami; ICA, London; The Astrup Fearnley Museum of Modern Art, Oslo; Stedelijk Museum, Amsterdam; Frankfurter Kunstverein; Kunstverein München; PS1 MoMA, New York; CAC, Vilnius; Kunstwerke, Berlin; and Städtisches Museum in Lenbachhaus, München.
