STANDARD (OSLO) is currently closed due to renovation, and will reopen in its new gallery space in March 2026. The gallery will make use of the entire ground floor of Eilert Sundts gate 40 in the Uranienborg district of Oslo - a concrete building that was designed by the Norwegian architect Bjarne Tjønn (1925-1996), which was completed in 1961 and which for 35 years housed the most prominent Norwegian frame maker, Galleriets Rammeverksted. The opening of its inaugural exhibition, a group exhibition with the title “A Clean Well-Lighted Place (And Countless Crates in the External Storage Space)” - will take place on Thursday the 12th of March 2026.
